AVAE LIYAH

For this project, I decided to do woven fabric swatches that would be used for a home decor collection.  On the left side of my first board, I shared my inspiration for my designs.  I originally drew inspiration from butterflies because of the variety of intricate shapes you find within their wings but also found that I wanted a whimsical touch to make the designs more unique.  After doing research on trends, I found that line art and abstract work are becoming more prevalent.  From that information, I created an optical line art pattern to go into the background of the butterfly motifs.  On the other boards, I have provided my color palette, what yarn ws used, motifs, and how my designs would look textured mapped on certain parts of furniture.
